Puppy Petting will resume for the Fall 2009 semester on Saturday, Sept 19th from 3-4 pm at Cheat Lake Animal Hospital's Wellness Center.
PUPPY PETTING SCHEDULE
Hearts of Gold Service Dogs holds Puppy Petting every Saturday during the regular WVU Semester. All are invited to this event, which allows people from the community to come and socialize with our Service Dogs-in-training. Puppy Petting sessions are held at the Cheat Lake Animal Hospital in the Wellness Center. Please visit www.cheatlakevets.com for directions.

Puppy Petting sessions will not be held during the summer. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering over the summer.
Please access this page regularly to check the status of Puppy Petting sessions. At times, cancellations are necessary due to lack of student volunteers, holidays, or illness. Cancellations will be posted immediately on this page.
PUPPY PETTING REGULATIONS:
No pets permitted on the premises during Puppy Petting
Children must be watched carefully. Hearts of Gold is not responsible for any injuries incurred during Puppy Petting sesssions.
NOTREATS given to Hearts of Gold service dogs unless approved by a staff member of Hearts of Gold.
Dogs are NOT TO BE TRAINED during Puppy Petting - this is their time to relax and be dogs - please don't place demands on them during this time.
